Za nekoga kome je engleski maternji jezik, svake nedelje sam impresioniran koliko je sjajna tvoja upotreba jezika da izraziš svoje živopisne misli. Uživam u tvojim postovima i radujem im se svake nedelje da ih procitam. Svaka cast!
I suspect Andrea is one of those rare persons who is linguistically fluid, in thought, mind and essence.....her thoughts are universal. . . . me, I used Google Translate!
You write "It was the day I decided to become a professional tennis player and show them all. Who were they all? Nobody knows but I was convinced I was wronged by somebody". It is the same thing I was thinking all of my life and I thought I am out of my mind to create such a rivalry in my head! Luckily I found I am not alone now! :))
At the end of Rush movie, Nicky Lauda speaks to James Hunt asking him to be serious and by that pushing him (Lauda) even more because he needs that rivalry to become better.
On the other hand, you made me curious in what aspects were you not solid as you mentioned them. Maybe you will dedicate a whole article on that. :)
Even the idea of having a rival makes me uneasy, which is no doubt why I never had one in any capacity (if one did have the potential to materialize, I most definitely ran the other way). This insatiable hunger is what separates the professionals like yourself from the amateurs...
It is becoming impossible to ignore that Rafa is almost done. I tried to look the other way for as long as I could. 😞
I think you may have to wait a while to have your rival in tennis literature. I hold out hope that Medvedev will pick up the pen when he is through, though I can also see him devoting his retirement on the PlayStation...!
You ask: Who will make me better now? Everything has its time and you know that you have many other chances and opportunities to become better- without a rival. With friends.
Can I ask, have you approached any publishers yet in regards to the translation? I’d suggest Ms Caitlin Thompson! 😁 They’ve published books (a book…) before! 🤔
Also in Romanian, but even though the Portuguese and Romanian are latin languages (Romanian with a lot of Slavic influence) would be hard to understand. :)

I'll hold you to that comment about golf next time!
Please post when your book is published in English! I will definitely buy a copy and read it! I very much enjoy your writing and commentary!
Great take on the Nadal and Federer dynamic with Djokovic having to chart his own course. All sort of dependent on each other to a certain extent.
And, awesome reveal of Kerber as your rival, and what it meant!
I hope that your books are translated into English soon! I had to drop German in college…
The concept album, what a great way to put it.
Looking forward your book in English. Love the way you wrote and your views on tennis.
Love it again 🥰 I have feeling that you would be a great stand up comedian
What a lovely article! I’m a very new tennis fan, but you’ve got my interest!
